1688 Moto Parts
How we buy motorcycle and scooter parts from China
1688 Moto Parts is an independent buying agent for aftermarket and unbranded motorcycle, scooter, dirt bike and ATV parts. We help turn a parts request into a specification, supplier offer and shipment plan you can review before approving a purchase. We are not a manufacturer, and an engine-family name alone does not establish compatibility.

1. Start with the installed machine and exact part
Send the vehicle maker, model, year and market, plus a clear photograph of the complete engine marking. Keep prefixes, suffixes and maker information intact. Tell us about engine swaps, altered wiring or other modifications; the badge and original catalog may no longer describe the installed configuration.
- Original part or catalog reference, listing link and photographs showing markings and interfaces.
- Relevant dimensions with units and measurement points; include connector views and known pin functions for electrical parts.
- Quantity per variant, piece or set contents, destination country/postcode, intended use and required date.
2. Review the evidence for each candidate
We compare the offered variant with the supplied application evidence and component requirements. A belt needs its application and length convention; a bearing may need its complete suffix; a CDI needs the correct power source, pin functions and operating specification. A matching connector housing is insufficient.
Conflicting measurements, unclear references and undocumented substitutions stay open questions. Where necessary, agree a sample stage or obtain a qualified technical review before considering a larger purchase.
3. Check the supplier and agree the inspection scope
Review the seller identity, offered SKU, source information where available and written specification. Marketplace history is a screening input, not evidence that the part fits or meets destination requirements. Agree the photographs, measurements, sample quantities and acceptance points needed for the order.
Warehouse photographs and dimensional checks have limits. They do not establish installed performance, durability or regulatory compliance. Any specialist assessment needs a separately agreed scope and evidence.
4. Compare the complete quote before purchase
The quote should separate goods, Chinese domestic freight, buying service, agreed inspection, protective packing and international freight. State destination handling, duties and taxes as included amounts, assumptions or exclusions. Quantities, supplier minimums, samples, packaging volume and restricted contents can change the result.
Review lead-time assumptions and the proposed route alongside the cost. Sending an enquiry does not approve an order; purchase follows your approval of the offered specification and terms.
5. Screen contents and destination requirements
Disclose batteries, pressurised or oil-filled components, fluids and any fuel-testing or use history. Carrier acceptance depends on the exact contents, condition and route. Draining a component does not by itself settle acceptance.
Identify product-specific import and intended-use requirements for the destination before release. Compare separate shipments when a restricted line could hold up otherwise acceptable dry parts, including the extra packing and handling costs.
6. Keep the approved record through delivery
Compare inspection findings with the approved line-item specification before shipment. Keep variants separately identified on inner packs and packing lists. Report discrepancies against that record, and retain the supplier SKU, photographs and accepted specification for future enquiries. A repeat order still needs confirmation of the current variant and offer.
Questions before you request a quote
- Can you work from a 1688 link?
- Yes. Send the link with your machine details and requirements. The listing helps identify an offer; it does not replace application evidence or a complete quote.
- Is there a fixed minimum order?
- The practical minimum depends on the seller, variant and order costs. Samples, mixed baskets and small quantities are reviewed case by case.
- Can you guarantee fitment from the engine code?
- No. The full code narrows the search, but the specific component still needs application, interface and operating evidence.
- How long will delivery take?
- Timing depends on availability, specification questions, agreed checks and the accepted transport route. Review the current order milestones before committing.
Send a request with the evidence attached
Include the complete engine marking, part reference, required quantities and destination. We can then identify the missing information and scope a quote.
